Abstract

One kind of natural disaster that can cause significant property damage and even fatalities is flooding. It's critical to diagnose floods early to reduce their effects. In this study, we describe a novel early flood detection technique utilizing the Thingspeak cloud platform, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Internet Of Things (IOT) technologies. The system consists of a network of Internet Of Things (IOT) sensors positioned in flood-prone areas to detect water levels in real time. These sensors collect and transmit water level data to the Thingspeak cloud platform. The AI algorithms running on the cloud platform examine the data to look for changes in water levels that could indicate an impending flood.
