Abstract
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effects of early enteral nutrition (EN) in the treatment of severe acute pancreatitis.Methods Thirty-six cage of SPA were analyzed and divided into EN group (18 patients)and total parenteral nutrition(TPN) group(18 patients).The immunity,nutrition status,median duration of hospital stay,infection rate and the incidence of hyperglycemia between the two groups were compared.Results After nutrition therapy,the serum contents of albumin were increased obviously.The incidence of infection,median duration of hospital stay and the incidence of hyperglycemia in EN group were lower than those in TPN group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Early EN plays an important role in the treatment of SPA.Reasonable EN could impmve the immunity and Hatrition status of the SPA patients.
