Abstract

The article examines the dynamics of the development of paratrooper cadets’ physical qualities in the process of military-professional training under the influence of crossfit classes. 95 cadets (men) of the Military Academy (Odesa) took part in the study. Two groups were formed: EG (n=47) and CG (n=48) from the cadets aged 18-22 with reliably identical indicators of physical qualities (р>0.05). EG cadets engaged in crossfit classes according to the authors’ methodology, CG cadets trained according to the current method of physical training. The analysis of the dynamics of physical qualities development was carried out based on the results of cadets’ testing for: 100 m run, pull-ups, overcoming an obstacle course, 3 km run. The high effectiveness of the authors’ methodology of developing physical qualities in paratrooper cadets using crossfit, compared to the current method of physical training, has been proven. At the end of the experiment, a significantly (р≤0.05-0.001) better level of physical qualities development was found in EG cadets compared to CG, according to all tests.
