Abstract

The worldwide wireless communication technology’s rapid growth requires broadband antennas with multiple applications simultaneously for various applications such as television, mobile phones, GPS, Wi-Fi and 4G. The design and development of Microstrip Antenna Technology fulfills these features. A simple compact Dual Symmetrical Slots Single Slit Partial Ground Dual Notch Rectangular Monopole Microstrip Antenna is designed and proposed for Broad Band Applications in this paper. The proposed antenna is fabricated on modify Epoxy substrate material of εr = 4.2, h=1.6mm at 3 GHz of dimension 50X50 mm2. The impedance bandwidth covers the range from 1.15-8.12 GHz with respective bandwidth of 150.30% for the magnitude of return loss<-10dB and VSWR<=2 with multiple resonant frequencies..The designed and proposed antenna has nearly omnidirectional radiation pattern and maximum gain at 4GHz. The Proposed antenna is most suitable for wireless communications including ISM (2.4-2.5 GHz)/ (6.765-6.795GHz), WLAN IEEE 802.11 g/a (5.15-5.35 GHz and 5.725-5.825 GHz) and C Band (4-8 GHz) applications.
