Abstract
The genome of Ochrobactrum sp. isolated from agricultural soil polluted with the herbicide glyphosate is reported. The genome size is 5.48 Mb with an average G + C content of 56.3%. This genomic data could contribute to a better understanding of biochemistry and regulatory mechanisms of microbial degradation of glyphosate and 2-aminoethylphosphonic acid.
