Abstract

Supernumerary tooth is one of the developmental problems in children. Mesiodens is a supernumerary tooth present in the midline between the two central incisors. It usually results in oral problems such as malocclusion, food impaction, poor aesthetics, and cyst formation, delayed eruption and impaction central incisor. It is usually an extra tooth with a cone- or - peg-shaped crown and a short root or a supplemental tooth. The purpose of the presentation is to describe an unusual morphology and management of mesiodens associated with impacted central incisor
