Abstract
This paper studies the distributed consensus-based estimation and control of large-scale systems under gossip communication protocol. Novel observers which combine local Luenberger-like observers with consensus-based strategies are proposed. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient conditions in the form of matrix inequalities are established such that the considered system is exponentially mean-square stable with a prescribed L2-gain. The observer and controller gains can be obtained efficiently by the proposed numerical algorithm. Finally, the effectiveness of the theoretical results is illustrated by a numerical example.
