Abstract

Data plays a vital role in the management of trainings. Data on the implementation of trainings are needed for long-term purposes either for accreditation or alumni needs. One data that must be safe and easily accessible is the certificate of the training participants. Lately, the system of storing and distributing the certificates at the Religious Education and Training Center of Aceh had been done manually. This resulted in ineffective and inefficient distribution of the certificate. Therefore, cloud computing technology was used to overcome this problem. This study aimed to describe the stages of using the cloud computing technology for storing and distributing certificates of training alumni of 2020 and 2021. The research was conducted qualitatively. The data sources of this study were; (1) Head of Technical Section of Education and Religious Training, (2) Committee Technical Section of Education and Religious Training, (3) Alumni of regular training and PdWK training, and (4) Staff of Technical Section of Education and Religious Training. Data were collected through observation, interviews and document studies. This study resulted in five stages of using the cloud computing technology for the distribution of training alumni certificates; (1) consultation and coordination, (2) digitization, (3) certificate storage into cloud computing, (4) system testing and socialisation to the committee about the digital certificate storage link, (5) system evaluation and improvement.
