Abstract

Objective To discuss the rescue work for elderly patients with acute myocardial infarction, then summarize and analyze them. Methods 38 cases of acute myocardial infarction were selected and rescued by our hospital from January 2007 to January 2010 as object of study, and retrospectively reviewed, summarizing and analyzing the matters needing attention and knowledge gained. Results After 6 to 15 days of treatment, among 38 cases in this group, the symptom of 33 cases changed better and began to stabilize, while 5 patients died because of pump failure. Conclusion Exact and timely early diagnosis, right aid measures are the keys of increasing the rate of successful rescue and reducing the death rate, meanwhile, later nursing work plays an important role in improving patients' condition and recovery.
