Abstract

This work aims to mobilize concepts of Discourse Analysis (DA) found in Michel Foucault as strategy of discursive reading to the literary text. Based on this encounter, we aim to approach the discourses on childhood, presented in the song lyrics “Criança não Trabalha” (1996) and “Pequeno Cidadão” (2009), by Arnaldo Antunes. Therefore, we aim to articulate the child-becoming concept (Deleuze) to reflections on Michel Foucault on governability and subjectivation processes with the purpose of apprehending other modes of conceiving childhood today.
