Abstract

A radio frequency angle modulator is proposed with a direct digital data interface using 0.18 µm CMOS technology. It consumes 42 mW, occupies a chip size of 0.936×0.935 mm, and shows a measured error vector magnitude of 0.55% at 2.468 GHz with 5.5 Mbit/s data rate.
