Abstract
Evaluation of Religious Culture and Ethics Knowledge Courses in Terms of Pluralism This article basically aims to describe the issue of pluralism in the contex of Religious Culture and Ethics Knowledge courses provided at schools as a compulsory courses in the level of primary and secondary education in Turkey. In the first title of the article, plurality and pluralism notions and their effects on education are described. Secondly, plural situations that come up in the context of Religious Culture and Ethics Knowledge courses are explained. In addition, debates on the course in related to pluralism with rulings of the national end international court are examined. Thirdly, Curriculum of Primary Religious Culture and Ethics Knowledge course prapered in 2010 are examined and evaluated. It is possible to say that this curriculum has more pluralistic character than previous curriculums, because it includes Alewism as a plurality in Islam, and contains other religions objectively.
