Abstract

With the development of information science and technology, the digital transformation of the power industry has become the general trend. Faced with the demand of digital transformation, distribution companies need to make the best use of power big data to achieve data-driven business operation. This paper proposes digital operation management framework for distribution companies, which is based on big data thinking. Firstly, this paper develops a business operational index framework for distribution companies. Secondly, the bussiness management is divided into three stages: problem identification, root cause analysis and case optimization. At each stage, this paper proposes a set of data analytic methods based on big data technologies. Case studies indicate that the proposed framework can transform decision-making from qualitative analysis to quantitative analysis, therefore enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of business operation.
