Abstract
Este artigo analisa o processo de difusão e transferência internacional da tecnologia de produção de cimento no Brasil Ele examina a evolução da produção de cimento em termos dos padrões mundiais, enfatizando o princípio da mudança tecnológica. A velocidade da introdução de novos processos de produção no País foi analisada. O artigo estuda, também, a indústria dc bens de capital para o setor do cimento no Brasil, procurando identificar o nível de apropriação tecnológica.
