Abstract

The diffusion of Ti 44 and V 48 in the b.c.c. phase of iodide titanium has been studied over the temperature range 900–1550°C. The resulting Arrhenius-type plots show curvature with the apparent activation energies and frequency factors increasing with temperature. The various possible interpretations of this behavior are considered.
