Abstract

The differentiation of work and education has been a primary motor of economic and social progress. De-differentiation undermines the specialization that will be increasingly important in establishing the conditions of future innovation and growth in the “knowledge economies” of the future. There are increasingly calling for greater collaboration between vocational education and universities. The article analyzed the implications of differentiation and de-differentiation of the higher education and discussed the possibilities and specific ways of cooperation between vocational education and universities.
