Abstract

Ba3NaLaNb10O30 crystal has been grown by the Czochralski technique. It has a tetragonal tungsten bronze type structure. At room temperature, the space group is P4/mbm with the lattice constants a=b=1.247nm, c=0.395nm. Dielectric, pyroelectric and ferroelectric measurements revealed a paraelectric-ferroelectric phase transition near 280K which is highly diffused with the diffuseness index γ=1.8. The low temperature ferroelectric phase belongs to point group 4mm.
