Abstract

This article aims to reconstruct the context of emergency of the historical didactics in Germany and the challenges of the new historical didactics in Brazil. To that end, it analysis the generational conflict in post-war German society, the legitimation crisis of History in the Sixties, the rising of the new historical didactics as an answer to this crisis and the differences between his theoreticians. Finally, it reflects about the influence of the German historical didactics in Brazil, analyzing the differences between his adepts and how the Brazilians theoreticians builds a new historical didactics who tries to answer the needs of orientation of our own experience in time
