Abstract

Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection is one of the common sexually transmitted infections worldwide. As is known, persistent high-risk HPV infection is closely related with cervical cancer and precancerous lesions. HPV detection is widely used in the natural history and etiological study of HPV-related diseases. HPV detection or type identification is significant to screening, early diagnosis, treatment and prognosis evaluation of HPV-related diseases. With the development of molecular biology and immunology, biomarker detection has gradually become the researching hotspot.
