Abstract
The article reflects the ideas of the creative potential of students in the course of their professional teacher training. In the development of students' creative potential we have identified the steps in the logic of the main trends. A survey of freshmen and sophomores Profile "Primary education" Buryat State University. Survey data allowed the authors to conclude that students do not understand the essence of all the concepts of creativity, but find it necessary to its development in the future teachers, considering it a stepping stone to professional competence, as well as consider the necessary work to implement their own creative potential. Aspects of the development of the creative potential of the students and highlighted the pedagogical conditions of its formation: the creation of a creative environment; reflexive urge to activity; dialogization of educational process.
