Abstract

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to determine the effectiveness of the activity of cargo customs complexes in market conditions of the formation of demand for customs and logistics services. Methodology. Studies of the dynamic competitiveness of cargo customs complexes were carried out using the methods of mathematical statistics. Findings. A simulation of the assessment of the dynamic competitiveness of cargo customs complexes on a regional basis of export-import potential. To build a model for assessing the competitiveness of cargo customs complexes used the method of multidimensional scaling. According to the results of the assessment of the quality of services, the average prices for the services of cargo customs complexes and the average service time to summarize the initial data, an identification matrix was constructed. The processing of the initial data was carried out according to the proposed algorithm of the methodology for evaluating the competitiveness of cargo customs complexes. For the application of Thorgerson's multidimensional scaling method, rigid hypothetical assumptions were made on which this method is based. As a result of the calculations, a two-dimensional configuration of the scales was obtained and the optimal dimension was determined. The main factor axes and the obtained geometrical configuration of the objects under study are analysed. To compare several objects, individual differences were modelled (weight of coordinates and interaction force of coordinate axes). As a result of the simulation, the best configuration and weight estimation matrix was obtained. Scientific novelty. The scientific novelty of the work is that it considers the parameters for assessing the competitiveness of cargo customs complexes, taking into account the regional basis. Practical value. The practical significance of the work lies in the fact that the implementation of its results will allow to increase the incoming flow of goods, thereby increasing the financial result of the activity of cargo customs complexes.
