Abstract

Purpose. Reducingcosts and increasing the productivity of strip tillage for row crops by creating and implementing a competitive combined uniting domestic production. Methods. Analytical and experimental laboratory-field studies, standard test methods using the developed prototype units. Results. A combined unit for strip tillage with local application of mineral fertilizers was developed, tested and put into production. Conclusions. Developed, manufactured and tested a combined unit consisting of the sowing module MB-5 and tools for strip tillage ASOG-8D, which has a working width of 5.6 m, performs tillage to a depth of 35 cm in strips 30–35 cm wide and application of granular mineral fertilizers with a dose of 50 to 400 kg/ha in two soil horizons to an adjustable depth from 0 to 35 cm. The distance between the stripes is 70 cm. During the tests, the combined unit tillage on the field after harvesting soybeans to a depth of 28 ± 2 cm and applied fertilizers at a given dose of 100kg/ha. Ensured the uneven distribution of fertilizers among the working bodies of 11.2 % and their milling into the soil in two horizons to a depth of 5– 10 and 15–20 cm. The average speedof the unitwas 7.1 km/h, productivity – 3.9 ha/h, fuel consumption – 17.2 l/ha. According to the test results, the design documentation has been adjusted. The unit was put to production at the enterprise LLC Krasnyanske JV Agromash. Keywords: combined unit, tools, strip tillage, sowing module, fertilization, testing.
