Abstract

The study is devoted to the development and validation of methods for the spectrophotometric analysis of omeprazole and esomeprazole in the substance and various drugs. 96% ethyl alcohol was chosen as the general solvent. The operating wavelengths are 295 nm. The relative error of determination is ± 1.2% for “Omeprazole” capsules, ± 0.51% for “Omegast” capsules, ± 0.39% for “Esom” capsules, ± 0.32%. Validation of methods for the quantitative determination of omeprazole and esomeprazole in standard samples was carried out taking into account parameters such as specificity, linearity and accuracy.
