Abstract

From a curricular point of view, the integration of disciplines establishes clear and correct relationships between knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, knowledge. All these belong to different school subjects. The interdisciplinary approach emphasizes the stimulation of content teaching, helps the chosen methods and strategies in solving problems and contributes to the formation of transversal, transdisciplinary, key and integrated skills. Through interdisciplinarity, students develop their interest in learning, and active-participatory methods place children at the center of the learning activity. The strongest argument supporting the field of interdisciplinarity is given by the integrated picture of things and separately. Interdisciplinarity is achieved, horizontally, between subject contents and competences al the same level of study, and also vertically, competences at the same level of study, and also vertically, between contents and competences from different levels of study.
