Abstract
Because of the carcinogen property of nickel, it is important for the water environment to monitor the trace nickel with a kind of simple and sensitive method. The determination of trace nickel in the Fu-yang river by PAN(1-(2-pyridineazo)-2-naphthol) spectrophotometry is introduced in this paper. The result indicate that the limit of detection of this method is 0.004 mg/L, the relative standard deviation is 0.01% and the mark-on recovery ranged from 95.0%~105.6%. In addition, several problems needing attention about experiment process are posed in this paper.
