Abstract

It has gradually become a hot topic of research about the exploration of the effective way of combination between modern design pragmatics and cultural semantics. This paper proposes to integrate the modern statistical calculation method (grey system correlation degree) into the perceptual cultural product design. Through the analysis of the correlation between design pragmatics and the explicit and implicit pragmatic features of cultural products, this paper provides design guidance and direction for the search for the high-quality and effective design integration between traditional cultural imagery (shadow puppetry) and product design (clock). In this way, the research explores the correlation between design pragmatics and the pragmatic features of cultural products to obtain higher quality cultural products, while seeking reasonable and effective design guidance for contemporary cultural product designers.
