Abstract
The objective is to develop design methods and codes for computer aided design of heat exchangers with multicomponent condensing/evaporating mixtures in one- or two-phase flow. Flow pattern and transport coefficients are determined section by section using an equation of state for stability analysis, flash calculations and prediction of thermodynamic properties.
