Abstract

The Current Conveyor Trans-conductance Amplifier (CCTA) is a basic building block that can be utilized in linear as well as nonlinear applications of current-mode circuits. This paper provides a review of the CCTA implementations and its applications in analog signal processing. A number of parameters like power consumption, operating voltage, 3dB bandwidth, trans-conductance, number of transistors used for implementation, and technology used are taken into consideration keeping in mind the utility of CCTA in low-power very large-scale integration (VLSI) application areas. This review concluded with a remark on the best suitable CCTA structure for low-power applications and its future possibilities to use.
