Abstract

This paper presents the vector control induction motor drive using fuzzy logic controller, PID and hybrid controller for improving the performance of motor speed and load torque. Design of hybrid fuzzy logic controller for vector control three-phase induction motor drive is implemented with MATLAB/Simulink environment in the terms of rise-time, over-shoot, under-shoot and settling time. Simulation results show that hybrid controller produces better performance in terms of rise-time, over-shoot, under-shoot and settling time as compared PID controller.
