Abstract
The airfoil used in axial fan blades is one of the important factors that affect the efficiency of the axial fan. In this paper, the design process of the axial flow fan is realized by FORTRAN language, and then the traditional airfoil CAP2021 and the new high-performance airfoil CAP2021-Mod designed by us are applied to the design of the axial flow fan, and the impellers of two axial flow fans are designed, and the design results are compared and analyzed. Finally, the CFD numerical simulation of the two axial flow fans is carried out, and the Aerodynamic performance and flow field characteristics of the two fans are obtained. The simulation results show that the axial flow fan with a high-performance airfoil has better Aerodynamic performance, and it is verified that the high-performance airfoil can be used in the design of a high-performance axial flow fan.
