Abstract

One of the important factors affecting the efficiency of axial flow fans is the blade airfoil. In this paper, the isolated airfoil design method is used to design the axial flow fan path, and the traditional airfoil and the new airfoil we designed are applied to the axial flow fan. Finally, two types of axial flow fan impellers are designed and compared. Ultimately, the CFD numerical simulation of the two axial flow fans is performed, and the aerodynamic performance and flow field characteristics of the two fans are acquired. The numerical simulation results show that the axial flow fan with high-performance airfoil has better aerodynamic performance, which verifies that the design method and high-performance airfoil can be used to design high-performance axial flow fan, which has important application value and promotion prospects.
