Abstract
In this paper, design and implementation of router supporting multicast are proposed. Since different multicast supported routers may vary in routing schemes, we ignore the design of routing unit in this paper. We focus on the design of the virtual channel allocator(VA), switch allocator(SA) and virtual channel buffer(VCB), which are common in many wormhole-based routers supporting multicast.
