Abstract
Purpose - to systematize the separation of the sphincter apparatus of the gastrointestinaltract (GIT). To highlight the problematics of eponymic names in the study of normalhuman anatomy, in particular the sphincter zones of the digestive system. Give eponymousexplanations and interpretations of the values of the anatomical elements presented.Emphasize the need for the proposed separation.Conclusions. The sphincter apparatus is an indispensable component of a complete andhealthy digestion process.The need to represent eponymic names for the structures of the gastrointestinal tract.The need for some structures and organs of the gastrointestinal tract to have basic andadditional synonymous names.
