Abstract
Changes in the chemical composition of the hot springs of Mendeleev Volcano (Kunashir Island) as for Cl−, SO 4 2− , CO2, NH 4 + and Cl−/SO 4 2− are given in function of the 1965–66 and 1973 (in part) seismic activity in the South Kurile islands.
