Abstract

The data on the distribution of the density of seals made of cast-iron composites and the movement of particles in closed press molds during cold pressing are presented. The influence of the kinematics of the shape-forming elements of the press mold on the distribution of density along the height of the "sleeve" type seal is estimated. The deviation from the average value of the pressing porosity along the height at two-sided pressing is less than the deviation at one-sided pressing. A mathematical analysis of the dependence between the billet pressing pressure and the compaction mechanism for different pressing options is presented. Keywords: density, powder movement, pressing scheme, pressing pressure, matrix, rod, press mold, punch. afetceferova8@gmail.com
