Abstract

Excessive use of gadgets in children has become a major concern in health and education literature. This paper investigates the psychological impacts that arise from excessive exposure to digital technology during children's development. Through a review of the latest research, the authors present findings that indicate a correlation between excessive gadget use and negative impacts on children's psychological well-being, including mental health problems, decreased social abilities, and attention disorders. Practical implications and preventative suggestions are also presented to help parents and educators manage children's gadget use wisely. By understanding the possible psychological impact, this paper provides a comprehensive view of the role of technology in children's development, emphasizing the importance of a balanced and forward-looking approach to gadget use at critical developmental stages.
