Abstract
The cyclic voltammetric method that allows the evaluation of formaldehyde concentrations in electroless copper solution is described. In this study, evidence is provided to show that methylene glycolate anion and its copper (II) complex are electroactive species in the solution. These species give a peak centered around −0.25V vs. . It is also proposed that this technique can easily be integrated into a remote monitoring system.
