Abstract

We present a case of a 17 years old girl with diagnosis of recurrent anaplastic glioma of the right temporal lobe, with a history of previous 3-year treatment, including repeated surgery, radio and chemotherapy. While all these methods were already used and failed in further control of the tumor, we decided to use salvage CyberKnife radiosurgery. A total dose of 25Gy (5 fractions, 70% isodosis) has been used with no toxicity (despite the previous radiotherapy) - resulting in 12 months disease free survival.
