Abstract
Current awareness services and selective dissemination of information are used at Albany International Research Co. (AIRESCO) to support the research, product development, and other information needs of our scientific and technical community. The nature of our industry, our business objectives, and the variety of information needs pose challenges when compiling timely alerts to newly published information. This paper examines a number of issues affecting the Current Awareness Reports program administered by our one-person science library.
