Abstract

The main task of the state is the development of society, improving the quality of life of citizens, increasing life expectancy. The most effective mechanism for the development of society is the financing of social projects. Currently, attention is increasingly being paid to social problems and more and more investments are being made in the areas of health, education, cultural and sports development. PPP projects are concluded for the construction of educational, medical and sports facilities, parks and cultural facilities. Typically, such large projects requiring large financing are concluded on concession agreements. When implementing PPP, the state receives quite a lot of advantages. PPP mechanisms allow public authorities to create new infrastructure facilities of social importance or improve existing ones in full financial measure and with due quality, even if there are not enough budget funds. The article highlights the main problems of PPP in the development of public-private partnerships of the Russian Federation in the implementation of infrastructure projects in the social sphere, and suggests current areas for their improvement. All directions for improving the implementation of PPP in the implementation of infrastructure projects in the social sphere are extremely versatile and affect both the legislative and organizational and financial aspects.
