Abstract

The intangible cultural resources of Enshi Tujia in Hubei Province, China, are very rich. In the context of globalization, the preservation and development of the intangible cultural heritage of Enshi Tujia faces serious threats. In the light of the current situation with the protection of Enshi’s intangible cultural heritage, the author conducts a theoretical analysis of the intangible culture of the Tujia people in Enshi and discusses its artistic, historical and cultural value, as well as the value of scientific development, to help us better understand intangible culture. The protection of the heritage plays an important role in building a harmonious society. A new research perspective for understanding the ancestral forms of ethnic minorities contributes to the enrichment of the theory of ethnic education.
