Abstract

The interesting orientations of historical and ethnological research, between the second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th, are addressed to the study of Albanian society, its customary law and its coexistence with State authority, even by the direct use of oral sources, often recorded through the broad perspective of the odeporic story. In this article will emerge, in all their original coherence, the cultural merits of the historiography of those centuries which has described the identity and the autonomous values of the Albanian world in the most general context of the time.
