Abstract
The so-called “Archaeology of the body” has shown the relevance of the study of the body as a site of lived experiences. In this sense, it has aligned with the phenomenology and with feminist theory. Our main goal in this text is the analysis of women’s bodies buried in the archaeological site of Cerro de la Encina (Monachil, Granada) in order to understand how they experiences the world through their lives.
