Abstract

Second language acquisition is considered to be as a process which requires special skills. A number of researches were conducted on analyzing the ways of acquiring the second language. The main purpose of these researches is directed to define the appropriate and effective period for learning the languages. One of the controversial topics in the field of SLA (second language acquisition) is Critical Period Hypothesis (CPH).This article reviews the case of second language acquisition period of two students in the context of Uzbekistan, leaning on the ideas and facts provided in the prior researches.
