CRITERIA OF EFFICIENCY OF FUNCTIONING OF THE SYSTEM OF ADDITIONAL CONTINUING EDUCATION

Abstract

The article discusses issues relevant to the present day, as the system of additional professional education has radically changed the directions and priorities over the past few years. The interest in the problems of additional professional education is increasing from year to year, as at the present time it is the sphere of additional professional education that allows people to retrain quickly and to obtain employment. It is becoming apparent that obtaining a higher education is not a panacea but merely a necessary basis at obtaining employment, and a graduate, in the resume of whom there are documents, which confirm the availability of additional professional competences, included, is in higher demand in the labour market. For the first time in this study, the criteria of efficiency of functioning of the system of additional professional education, are presented, as to date there are criteria of efficiency for the system of higher education only. The article presents an innovation system of additional continuing education which has been successfully operating on the basis of the classical university for five years.
