Abstract

Nuclear supersymmetry establishes precise correlations among the spectroscopic properties of different nuclei. It is shown that these correlations can be derived in terms of SU(3) isoscalar factors by developing the concept of generalized F-spin. An application to one-neutron transfer reactions shows that the mixed symmetry L = 2 state is predicted to be excited more strongly than the first excited L = 2 state.
