Abstract

Objective To explore the correlation of hope level,the mental of anxiety and depression,and social support among chronic hepatitis B patients.Methods The Herth Hope Scale(HHS),Hospital Anxiety Depression (HAD) and Social Support Determination Table for a Rating Scale(SSRS) were used to investigated 200 cases patients with chronic hepatitis B and 200 health persons.Results The total score of the hope,anxiety,depression,and social support of chronic hepatitis B patients,respectively,was (38.31±3.29),(7.80±4.70),(7.30±4.10),(46.41±3.29) and that of the health persons was (35.76 ±2.53),(3.60 ±4.50),(3.40±2.80),(38.76±2.53),and the difference was statistically significant (t =2.223,2.213,2.256,2.245,respectively;P<0.05).The hope total score was negatively correlated with the total score of anxiety and depression,and positively correlated with the social support score (P<0.05).Conclusions The mental of anxiety depression and social support are the prediction factors of hope level of patients with chronic hepatitis B,so the nurses should be according to the patient anxiety and depression take targeted nursing intervention and encourage patients to communicate with families and friends,so as to get more social support and improve their quality of life.
