Abstract
[1] In the paper ‘‘Interactions between sorption and biodegradation: Exploring bioavailability and pulsed nutrient injection efficiency’’ by M. S. Phanikumar and David W. Hyndman (Water Resources Research, 39(5), 1122, doi:10.1029/2002WR001761, 2003), several corrections were not made to the final version of the paper. [2] In the fourth sentence of paragraph 9, the variable l should have been italic: ‘‘We assume that contaminant degradation is first-order and that the reactions are limited to an active treatment zone of length l.’’ [3] An error occurred in equation (3) and the following text. The correct equation and text are as follows.
