Abstract
Abstract COOPER Alloy PH-55A comprises three grades each of which offers a different combination of corrosion resistance, high hardness, high strength and machinability. They were developed to meet the combined requirements of high corrosion, abrasion and erosion resistance. They maintain their corrosion and wear properties at elevated temperatures (1000 to 1400 F). This datasheet provides information on composition, hardness, and tensile properties as well as fracture toughness. It also includes information on high temperature performance and corrosion resistance as well as casting, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: SS-109. Producer or source: Cooper Alloy Corporation. Originally published November 1960, revised September 1973.
