Abstract
Abstract The experiment was located in Little River County, AR, with plants at growth stages R2-4 and approximately 90% canopy closure. Plots size was 2 rows by 50 ft with a 30 inch row spacing. Experimental design was a randomized complete block with 4 replicates. All treatments were applied 23 Aug with a Solo backpack sprayer equipped with an adjustable hollow cone nozzle delivering approximately 21 gal/acre at 40 psi. Larval numbers were determined by taking 4, 3 row-ft drop cloth samples/plot immediately before and 2 and 7 DAT.
